Hyrox New York: what we know so far
HYROX New York is on hyrox.com with the date and venue still to come. What the official page says, what it doesn't, and where to train in the meantime.

HYROX New York is on the official calendar, and that's the whole of what's official: the page says date coming soon and venue information coming soon, and calls it their biggest event yet. Everything else about the race is still to be published, so this guide covers what's known, what isn't, and where the city trains while it waits.
When is Hyrox New York?
Not announced. The official page carries "date coming soon" and nothing more. Third-party calendars list a date; hyrox.com doesn't. Join the New York waitlist and you'll get the date when the organizer publishes it.
Where is the race?
Not announced either. Third-party listings put the last edition at Pier 76 on the Hudson River; hyrox.com doesn't say. If it's Pier 76 again, the pier's own page lists the 7, A, C and E subway lines and the M12 and M34 buses as the closest transit. Until the venue is confirmed, plan nothing around it.
What's the format?
The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, a New York result compares directly with one from any other city.
What divisions can you race?
Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.
Training in New York?
The city trains for it in the open: gyms calling themselves official affiliates in Manhattan and Brooklyn, chains running Hyrox classes at selected studios, and boxes publishing full race simulations. The New York gym map has the list, with a link to what each gym publishes about its own training.
The Hyrox New York page has the race facts as they land and the waitlist. AthleteField matches athletes on real race data, same-gym athletes first, so when the New York field opens, your gym's crew finds each other before race day. How a good target time is set and what a good Hyrox time is are the two most-asked questions we answer.
