Your race day at GoodLife HYROX Toronto is decided by your division, not by you. Pro Men race Friday. Pro Doubles race Saturday. The relays run Friday evening. If you are in Open Men, Open Women or Open Doubles, your entry can land on any of three days, and you will not know which until your wave is assigned about three days out.
Here is the published timetable, and what it means for your weekend.

Which divisions are locked to one day?
Five of them, and if you are in one of these you can book travel now.
- Pro Men race Friday only, 09:40 to 11:30.
- Pro Women race Friday only, 12:00 to 13:00.
- Pro Doubles Women race Saturday only, 17:20 to 18:30.
- Pro Doubles Men race Saturday only, 19:00 to 20:30.
- All three relays run Friday evening only, between 19:40 and 20:30.
Everyone else is spread across three days. Open Men and Open Women run Thursday, Friday and Saturday or Sunday depending on the category. Open Doubles Men run Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Open Doubles Women run Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Doubles Mixed run Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
When will I know my exact start time?
For North American events, HYROX assigns individual wave times roughly three days before the race. For an October 1 to 4 weekend that means expect yours around September 28 or 29.
You cannot choose it. At registration you estimate your finish time, and the fastest estimates are seeded into the earliest waves of your division. If you skipped the estimate, you are allocated randomly within the division.
You also cannot swap on the day. Starting in a wave other than your assigned one is a disqualification under the 26/27 rulebook, with no discretion.
What time should I actually arrive?
On-site registration opens 90 minutes before the first start time of the day, not 90 minutes before your own wave. Bring photo ID. The organiser states that checking in on behalf of another athlete is not allowed, so a partner cannot collect for you.
One Toronto-specific thing worth planning around: Exhibition Place is busy that weekend. The Fall Home Show and The Baby Show both run October 2 to 4 in the neighbouring halls, there are concerts at the RBC Stage on October 1 and 3, football at BMO Field on October 3 and hockey at Coca-Cola Coliseum the same day. The organiser specifically recommends transit over driving because of it.
Can I book travel before I know my day?
If you are in one of the five single-day divisions, yes, book now.
If you are not, the honest answer is that a Toronto entry means committing to a window rather than a date. Book refundable where you can, or plan for the three days your division actually runs rather than all four. Your division's spread is in the tables above, and it narrows the problem considerably: nobody in any division races all four days.
Who else is racing your day?
Once waves land, the useful question stops being "when do I race" and becomes "who else is in my window". See the Toronto field for who has claimed the race, their gyms and their target times. Athletes at your pace in your division are the ones worth knowing before race day, whether you need a doubles partner or just someone to warm up with.
This timetable is the organiser's provisional schedule, checked September 18, 2026. HYROX marks it subject to change, so confirm against the official race information page in race week. AthleteField is not affiliated with HYROX.
