Racing Gujarat, Nov 26 to 28: dates, venue and start times (2026)

Hyrox Gujarat runs November 26 to 28, 2026 at the Helipad Exhibition Center in Gandhinagar, the state capital next to Ahmedabad. It's the first Hyrox race in Gujarat. The nearest airport is Ahmedabad (AMD), 18.8 km from the venue, and individual start times come out about three days before the race.

When is Hyrox Gujarat 2026?

November 26 to 28, Thursday through Saturday, per the official event page. You choose your day when you buy: each athlete ticket in the official ticket shop is for a named day. Your start time within that day comes out about three days before the race. The shop lists doors at 6:30 am.

5 of 100 to open Gujarat

Toronto, our first field, has 640+ athletes. Gujarat opens at 100.

How do you get to the venue?

The venue's own directions put Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD) 18.8 km away, Gandhinagar Capitol rail station 4.1 km away, and Ahmedabad's Kalupur station 25.2 km away. The metro line between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar doesn't serve the venue yet, so plan a taxi or ride-hail. Stay in Gandhinagar for the shortest race morning, or in Ahmedabad and drive up.

What's the course and how are laps counted?

The Gandhinagar layout and the number of run laps aren't published yet; we'll add them when the official page does. The format is the same in every city: eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order. SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, a Gujarat result compares directly with one from any other city.

What Hyrox divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race. The division weights are the same as at every other race.

Not every division races every day. The athlete tickets in the official shop, checked October 7, 2026:

• Thursday, November 26: men, women, doubles men, doubles women, doubles mixed
• Friday, November 27: men, pro men, pro women, adaptive men, doubles mixed
• Saturday, November 28: women, adaptive women, doubles men, doubles women, pro doubles men and women, and all three relays

Spectators need a ticket for the day they come. The shop sells them for all three days; children under 12 go free but still need a ticket.

When are start times released?

About three days before the event, per the official page. Until then you know your division and your day, not your time. How heats and start times work covers what the wave times mean.

What do you need on race day?

A physical copy of your ID: the official page asks for it at check-in and doesn't accept digital copies or photos. You can't check in on behalf of anyone else. Check-in opens 90 minutes before the first start wave of your division, so if your division starts early, so does your morning.

Where can you train for Hyrox in Gujarat?

Human Care runs race-format Hyrox simulations in Ahmedabad. It's a fitness and physiotherapy studio with locations in Thaltej, Shela and Sattadhar, and its own site lists Saturday simulations at Pickleblitz Arena, Science City, in full and half formats for singles and doubles. The next listed date is Saturday, October 10, 2026; registration closes October 9 at 9 pm.

For regular training, the official training club finder lists clubs near Ahmedabad, and the station training guide covers what to do with whatever gym you have. Last checked October 7, 2026.

The Hyrox Gujarat page has the race facts and the waitlist. AthleteField matches athletes by pace, gym, division and race. Same-gym athletes come first, so when the Gujarat field opens, your gym's crew finds each other before race day. How a good target time is set is one of the most-asked questions we answer.
