The Feed HYROX Denver runs November 12 to 15, 2026 at the Stockyards Event Center, and it's a first: Denver has never hosted a HYROX race. A commuter-rail stop at the venue, and one honest warning for sea-level athletes further down.
When is Hyrox Denver 2026?
November 12 to 15, Thursday through Sunday. Your race day is assigned with your start wave, so an entry can land on any of the four days. Your exact start time comes from the organizer closer to the race.
Where is the race?
The Stockyards Event Center at the National Western Center, 5115 Race Ct. The RTD N Line stops at 48th and Brighton, the National Western Center station, so the venue has commuter rail at the door. Denver International (DEN) is a long way out, as it is for every Denver trip, so plan the airport leg and let the train handle race morning.
The altitude question
Denver sits at about 1,600 metres, which is why it's the mile high city. If you train at sea level you'll feel it on the runs, especially the back half. The honest adjustment: treat your usual pace as slightly optimistic, start conservative, and let the last two runs tell you what you had. Flying in a day or two early helps more with sleep than with adaptation, which takes weeks, so pace is the lever you control.
What's the format?
The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time.
What divisions can you race?
Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.
Training in Denver?
Denver has a real Hyrox training scene for a debut stop, including a gym running monthly full race simulations and an affiliated performance centre in the southern suburbs. The Denver gym map has the list, with a link to what each gym publishes about its own training.
The Hyrox Denver page has the race facts and the waitlist. AthleteField matches athletes on real race data, same-gym athletes first, so when the Denver field opens, your gym's crew finds each other before race day. How a good target time is set and what a good Hyrox time is are the two most-asked questions we answer.
