Hyrox Cairo: dates, venue, and what to expect

HYROX Cairo runs November 14 to 15, 2026 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, and it's a first: Egypt has never hosted a HYROX race. Two days of racing in Hall 4 in Nasr City, and a starting grid nobody in the country has stood on before.

When is Hyrox Cairo 2026?

November 14 to 15, Saturday and Sunday. Your race day is assigned with your start wave, so an entry can land on either day. Your exact start time comes from the organizer closer to the race.

Where is the race?

The Egypt International Exhibition Center, Hall 4, El-Moshir Tantawy Axis, Nasr City, in the east of the city. The organizer hasn't published arrival details yet, and we haven't found a primary source for transit or airport times, so plan the trip from the venue's own guidance rather than from a guess here.

What's the format?

The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, a Cairo result compares directly with one from any other city.

What divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.

Training in Cairo?

Cairo already trains for it: gyms in Sheikh Zayed, New Cairo and Maadi publish official training club claims and Hyrox simulation sessions. Much of the scene publishes on Instagram rather than the open web, so the official finder is worth a look too.
