Hyrox Abu Dhabi: dates, venue, and what to expect

HYROX Abu Dhabi runs October 23 to 25, 2026 at ADNEC Centre, and the schedule has one detail to plan around: Friday is a women's only race day. Everything else is the standard race, in a venue a quarter of an hour from the airport.

When is Hyrox Abu Dhabi 2026?

October 23 to 25, Friday through Sunday. Your race day is assigned with your start wave, and your exact start time comes from the organizer closer to the race.

The women's only race day

Friday, October 23 is reserved for female athletes, and only female athletes and spectators are admitted to the venue that day. Saturday and Sunday are open to everyone. If you're travelling with someone who wants to watch, that's the one scheduling detail to plan around.

Where is the race?

ADNEC Centre, Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, Al Rawdah. Zayed International Airport (AUH) is about 15 minutes away by road, and bus route 040 serves the venue. Most athletes will taxi; stay anywhere along the Al Khaleej Al Arabi corridor and the trip is short.

What's the format?

The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, an Abu Dhabi result compares directly with one from any other city.

What divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.

Training in Abu Dhabi?
