Hyrox comes to Bordeaux September 30 to October 4, 2026, and the area's gyms are already programming for it. This is a map, not a ranking: every entry below comes from what each gym publishes about its own training, with a link to the page we took it from. If we've missed yours, email hello@athletefield.co. Which Bordeaux gyms run dedicated Hyrox programming?
La Salle de Gym (Avenue de Guitayne, Canejan, south of the city). Their site lists the gym as an officially affiliated Hyrox training club, the only one in the south of the Bordeaux area by their account, with a signature 60-minute Hyrox class. The official-affiliate option if you're on the south side.
Method Training (Cours Evrard de Fayolle, Chartrons). Publishes a Hyrox program combining endurance and cardio work in continuous and interval formats. A studio setting in one of the city's nicest quarters.
Active Square (Avenue de Canteranne, Pessac). Runs published Hyrox challenge events: stations at official weights plus 1 km runs, labelled clearly as unofficial-format simulations. A sim before race week is the cheapest fitness test you'll ever buy.
Do you need a Hyrox gym at all?
No. The race is eight 1 km runs and eight stations, so what you need is running volume plus regular access to sleds, ergs, a sandbag and a wall-ball target. A Hyrox class mostly buys you three things: pacing practice at race intensity, time on race-standard equipment, and a crew who'll be on the same start line. The station training guide covers what to do with whatever gym you have.
Racing Bordeaux?
The Hyrox Bordeaux page has the race facts and the waitlist. AthleteField matches athletes on real race data, same-gym athletes first, so when the Bordeaux field opens, your gym's crew finds each other before race day. How a good target time is set and what a good Hyrox time is are the two most-asked questions we answer.
