Hyrox Mexico City: dates, venue, and what to expect

HYROX Mexico City runs October 29 to November 1, 2026 at the Hipódromo de las Américas, the racetrack in Lomas de Sotelo, and the organizer bills it as the largest HYROX event in Latin America. Four days of racing at a venue built for crowds.

When is Hyrox Mexico City 2026?

October 29 to November 1, Thursday through Sunday. Your race day is assigned with your start wave, so an entry can land on any of the four days. Your exact start time comes from the organizer closer to the race.

Where is the race?

The Hipódromo de las Américas, Av. del Conscripto 311, Lomas de Sotelo, in the Miguel Hidalgo borough on the west side of the city. Flying in, Mexico City International (MEX) is on the east side, so budget for a cross-town taxi; Polanco and the surrounding neighbourhoods are the short-trip side to stay on.

What's the format?

The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, a Mexico City result compares directly with one from any other city.

What divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.

Training in Mexico City?
