Hyrox Karlsruhe: dates, venue, and what to expect

HYROX Karlsruhe runs October 1 to 4, 2026 at Messe Karlsruhe, Halle 3. One detail worth knowing before you book anything: the Messe isn't in Karlsruhe. It sits in Rheinstetten, just southwest of the city, and the tram covers the gap.

When is Hyrox Karlsruhe 2026?

October 1 to 4, Thursday through Sunday. Your race day is assigned with your start wave, so an entry can land on any of the four days. Your exact start time comes from the organizer closer to the race.

Where is the race?

Messe Karlsruhe, Messeallee 1, Rheinstetten. Tram S2 toward Rheinstetten stops at Messe/Leichtsandstrasse, and on trade-fair days a free Messe-Express shuttle runs from Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof. Stay in central Karlsruhe and ride out; the city side has the hotels and the food. Flying in, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (FKB) is the local airport, and Frankfurt or Stuttgart are the bigger gateways with a train connection into Karlsruhe.

What's the format?

The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, a Karlsruhe result compares directly with one from any other city.

What divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.

Training in Karlsruhe?
