Hyrox Izmir: dates, venue, and what to expect

HYROX Izmir runs Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Fuar Izmir, and it's the compact version of a Hyrox weekend: one race day, everything decided by Saturday night. If you like your race trips short and sharp, this is the format.

When is Hyrox Izmir 2026?

One day: Saturday, September 19. Your start time comes with your wave assignment from the organizer closer to the race. A single race day also means the venue holds the entire field at once, which makes for a loud one.

Where is the race?

Fuar Izmir, the exhibition centre in Gaziemir. The location favors travellers: Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) is about 8 km away, in the same district. By public transit, the organizer's guidance is metro to Fahrettin Altay then bus 650, metro to Ucyol then bus 92, or the IZBAN train to Semt Garaji then bus 610.

What's the format?

The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, an Izmir result compares directly with one from any other city.

What divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.

Training in Izmir?

The official training club finder lists four clubs around the city: MACSTUDIO Bomonti Mahall near the centre, Herofit Training Club, Crossfit Karsiyaka in Cigli, and CLUB221. The official finder has the current list, and the station training guide covers what to do with whatever gym you have.
