Hyrox Hamburg: dates, venue, and what to expect

INTERSPORT HYROX Hamburg runs October 28 to November 1, 2026 at Hamburg Messe, and this is the home race. Hyrox started in Hamburg, the sport's own gym is in the city, and the field trains here all year. Five days of racing, U-Bahn at the door.

When is Hyrox Hamburg 2026?

October 28 to November 1, Wednesday through Sunday. Your race day is assigned with your start wave, so an entry can land on a weekday. Your exact start time comes from the organizer closer to the race.

Where is the race?

Hamburg Messe, using the south entrance on Karolinenstraße: Hall B6 for age group racing and Hall B5 for the Elite Series. Messehallen station on the U2 opens directly at the south entrance, and Sternschanze on the S-Bahn is a short walk. Hamburg Airport (HAM) connects to the city by S-Bahn, so the whole trip works without a car. Stay in Sternschanze or Karolinenviertel and you can walk to the start.

What's the format?

The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, a Hamburg result compares directly with one from any other city.

What divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.

Training in Hamburg?
