Hyrox Gdańsk: dates, venue, and what to expect

HYROX Gdańsk runs October 10 to 11, 2026 at AmberExpo, and it's a first: the seaside city has never hosted a HYROX race, and this one opens the Polish season. The venue sits in Letnica next to the stadium, with a tram stop and a train station at the door.

When is Hyrox Gdańsk 2026?

October 10 to 11, Saturday and Sunday. Your race day is assigned with your start wave, so an entry can land on either day. Your exact start time comes from the organizer closer to the race.

Where is the race?

AmberExpo, Żaglowa 11, in Letnica, beside the stadium. Transit is the easy part: the Żaglowa AmberExpo tram stop and the SKM Gdańsk Stadion Expo station are both adjacent to the venue. Gdańsk Airport (GDN) is about 12 km out, so stay anywhere on the tram or SKM network and race morning is a short ride.

What's the format?

The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, a Gdańsk result compares directly with one from any other city.

What divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.

Training in Gdańsk?
