Hyrox Beijing: dates, venue, and what to expect

Ulike HYROX Beijing runs September 10 to 13, 2026 at the National Speed Skating Oval, and the venue is the story: the Ice Ribbon, built for speed skating at the 2022 Winter Olympics. You get to race eight 1 km runs inside an Olympic venue on the Olympic Green. Not many fitness races can offer that sentence.

When is Hyrox Beijing 2026?

September 10 to 13, Thursday through Sunday. Your race day is assigned with your start wave, and your exact start time comes from the organizer closer to the race.

Where is the race?

The National Speed Skating Oval, Chaoyang District, on the Olympic Green. For a taxi, the organizer publishes the Chinese address on the event page; for the subway, Lincuiqiao station on Line 8 sits near the Oval. Flying in, Beijing has two international airports, Capital (PEK) in the northeast and Daxing (PKX) in the far south; Capital is the closer one to the Olympic Green.

What's the format?

The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, a Beijing result compares directly with one from any other city.

What divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.

Training in Beijing?

Beijing has one of the larger Hyrox training scenes in Asia: the official training club finder lists 19 clubs within 25 km of the centre, including F45 Chaowai, DAA and Maoding Fitness. Most Beijing gyms publish their schedules on WeChat rather than the open web, so the official finder is the reliable starting point.
