Amazfit HYROX Washington D.C. runs September 3 to 7, 2026 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Mount Vernon Square, the first time D.C. gets a five-day HYROX event. Downtown venue, Metro at the door, and one of the deeper Hyrox training scenes on the US east coast around it.

When is Hyrox Washington D.C. 2026?

September 3 to 7, Thursday through Monday over the Labor Day-adjacent weekend. Five race days means five possible assignments: your race day comes with your start wave, and your exact start time comes from the organizer closer to the race.

Where is the race?

The Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW, downtown in Mount Vernon Square. The Mount Vernon Square / 7th Street-Convention Center Metro station (Green and Yellow lines) is named for the building it sits under, so race morning is a train ride from anywhere on the network. Flying in, Reagan National (DCA) is the close airport, about five miles out with its own Metro station.

What's the format?

The same race in every city, which is the point of Hyrox. Eight 1 km runs, alternating with eight stations in a fixed order: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Transitions through the roxzone count toward your time. Because the format never changes, a D.C. result compares directly with one from any other city.

What divisions can you race?

Individual open and pro for men and women. Doubles in men's, women's and mixed, where the pair runs together and splits the station work, plus pro doubles. And relay, where a team of four splits the race.

Training in D.C.?
