Where to train for Hyrox in Anaheim: the gym map

Hyrox returns to Anaheim December 3 to 6, 2026, and most of the training scene is spread across Orange County rather than inside the city. This is a map, not a ranking: every entry below comes from what each gym publishes about its own training, with a link to the page we took it from. If we've missed yours, email hello@athletefield.co. Which gyms near Anaheim run dedicated Hyrox programming?

CrossFit Anaheim (S Santa Cruz, Anaheim). A Hyrox Training Club program announced on their site. No schedule on the page, so ask before you go.

Primitive Movement x Swole AF (Knott Street, Garden Grove). An official Hyrox Training Club in Orange County by their own page, with coaches certified on programming built by Hyrox, Hyrox-specific training three times a week and race-specific sessions five times a week, all eight stations listed.

Shamba Vibe, Hyrox Performance Center Orange County (Airway Avenue, Costa Mesa). Their site describes the gym as home to the first Hyrox Performance Center on the West Coast and the first and only certified Hyrox training hub in the US; both are their claims. Programs run from Hyrox Shred and Training Camp to Strong, Youngstars and an Endurance Lab, weekdays from 5:30am.

Orangetheory Fitness Anaheim Hills (E Santa Ana Canyon Road, Anaheim Hills). The studio page calls itself your Hyrox studio, with coach-led total-body workouts built for the demands of the race. Chain programming rather than an affiliation, so check the class names at the studio.

Fitness on Fire (Reynolds Avenue, Irvine). A Hyrox training program aimed at Hyrox Anaheim 2026: race rules, sled technique, SkiErg and row. No affiliation claim and no timetable on the page.

Do you need a Hyrox gym at all?

No. The race is eight 1 km runs and eight stations, so what you need is running volume plus regular access to sleds, ergs, a sandbag and a wall-ball target. A Hyrox class mostly buys you three things: pacing practice at race intensity, time on race-standard equipment, and a crew who'll be on the same start line.
